Migos have done it again! Their sophomore album ‘Culture II’ has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. This feat follows the success of the Atlanta trio’s debut album ‘Culture,’ which also debuted at No. 1 a year ago.

According to Nielsen, ‘Culture II’ earned 199,000 equivalent album units during its first week. Digital streams, traditional track sales and track equivalent units constituted the album’s sales, with streams composing the majority of units sold. Billboard reported that ‘Culture II’ achieved the highest number of streams since the release of Kendrick Lamar’s ‘DAMN.’ in April 2017.

The arrival of ‘Culture II’ has prompted new triumphs for the group. Migos is now the fifth rap group to have more than one No. 1 album, following the Beastie Boys, A Trip Called Quest, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and D12. The group is also now tied with The Beatles for having the most simultaneous entries on the Billboard Hot 100 among groups, according to Billboard.

Migos are currently dominating the Billboard charts with three songs in the top 20 spots of the Hot 100. The songs include hit single ‘Motorsport’ at No. 8, ‘Stiry Fry’ at No. 12 and ‘Walk It Like I Talk It’ at No. 17.
