Come out Saturday, October 7th at 1 p.m. to support the Howard University Bison Football Team against North Carolina Central Eagles.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the newfound success of the team, there will be a tailgate outside of Douglass Hall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. sponsored by UGSA with music provided by WHBC 96.3 HD3 (wear pink!).

After a big win defeating the Bethune Cookman Wildcats 26-24, a team they haven’t beat in over 20 years, the Bison are looking to bring that same energy to the Eagles, a team they haven’t beat since 1994.

Coach London says, “That’s part of competition. That’s what you do. You play the games that are put in front of you that are significant. We talked early on about #MissionPossible being a statement that you live it, breathe it, talk it, train like it, act like it…No one though the UNLV game was possible.”

This season the Bison are off to a great start, currently ranking third in the MEAC breaking even with a record of 2-2 compared to last season where they ended tenth in the MEAC with a record of 2-9. Much of it can be attributed to Coach London, his staff, and their new mindset of #MissionPossible which has already attracted14 recruits to the program for the 2018-2019 school-year.
